War Memorial for demised alumni being constructed at K V Picket

Reference proposal on construction of a memorial for the great sons of soil from Indian Defense Services (Passed out of KV Picket), who have laid down their lives during war/operations, this is to place on record that the KVP 1997 batch (Class XII ‘B’ Computer Sciences section) has conceived this idea and along with KVP Alumni Association have agreed to jointly undertake construction of the said memorial and will be jointly raising funds for the same from the Alumni of K V Picket.

The process of required approvals has already been initiated with the school authorities and it is intended that the construction of this memorial be completed before Pratibimb 2009 on 26th December 2009.

We request you all to donate generously for this cause and make the above proposal a possibility.

We thank you all for this great support in recognizing these brave men who not only have laid down their lives for the country and its people, but also stand as inspiration to all those who want the serve the nation by joining Indian Defense Services in future.

We have so far identified 3 such HEROES from various batches passed out of K V Picket. The names of whom are listed hereunder.
